How Will This Workshop Help Me?
These are live, highly interactive online learning experiences designed for those who are newer to the Commercial Lines insurance industry. You will learn coverage fundamentals and industry terms in a fun, collaborative way with a small group of agents and brokers from across the country.
Our goal is to give you a base-level knowledge of these coverages so you can sell and properly advise your clients. Please be aware this series is not designed to teach you about USLI products or guidelines; however, we are happy to provide you with this information outside of the series.

COMMERCIAL LINES LEVEL UP
WORKSHOP SESSIONS
Session 1: Are We Speaking the Same Language? Understanding Commonly Used General Liability Endorsements
Although most carriers are utilizing ISO’s CG 0001 to provide coverage for general liability exposures, endorsement usage can vary widely from carrier to carrier. This session will provide a high level focus on a few common General Liability endorsements and exclusions utilized within the industry and across this coverage line, such as the Assault & Battery exclusion, Premises Limitation endorsement, and Waivers of Subrogation and Primary-Non Contributory Wording.
Duration: 60 minutes
Session 2: Name That Peril - Examining ISO’s Cause of Loss Forms
Within Commercial Property Insurance, carriers utilized three main cause of loss forms: Basic, Broad, and Special. Often times, insureds and insurance professionals alike can be confused when a claim is not covered. To better serve and guide our clients, this module will help us navigate the forms by providing an understanding of what causes of loss are never covered under a commercial property policy, and examining how the covered perils vary across these different cause of loss forms.
